Our cancelation policy

Our goal at Tintern Chiropractic is to help people recover from pain and injury. We do this by providing timely chiropractic appointments to our patients as needed.

As a small clinic, all no-shows, late arrivals, and late cancellations inconvenience not only our clinic resources, but our other patients who may need to wait longer than necessary for an appointment. Due to an unfortunate increase in the number of no shows and late cancellations, we are imposing a mandatory late cancellation/ no-show fee, effective immediately.

Minimum notice

We understand that there are many pressures on your time and that it is not always possible to attend your appointments. For this reason, we ask for a minimum of 24 hours notice in the event you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment.  â€‹â€‹

No shows

A “no-show” is someone who misses an appointment without cancelling it or notifying us before the appointed time. A no-show will result in a £20 fee. An invoice will be sent via email and payment is due within 7 days of the missed appointment.

Our cancellation policy

​All new patient consultations require payment in full at the time of booking. ​When an initial consultation is cancelled with at least 24 hours’ notice, a full refund will be given in the same method of pre-payment. ​Where 24 hours’ notice is not provided for a cancelation, no refund will be paid.​​For follow up appointments, advance payment is not required. Cancellations with at least 24 hours’ notice do not incur a charge. Cancellations within 24 hours incur a 50% charge.In cases where an appointment is moved to another time on the same day, no charge will be made.Where traffic and other delays cause a patient to be late by more than 15 minutes, we will do our best to accommodate this and reschedule a same day appointment. However, where this is not possible, the missed appointment fee will be charged.In our desire to be effective and fair to all our patients, the full fee for missed appointments applies with only these exceptions:

Appointments rescheduled by phone up to the close of business the day before the appointment will not incur a charge

If your appointment is moved to another time on the same day, there will be no charge.
